Paradoxes for the Virtual (2015)
In this Cadavre Exquis (Exquisite Corpse), Lynn Lu (live) and Birgitta Hosea (projected from SKYPE) explore intimacy and mutual understanding across a virtual divide through a series of scored, shared confidences.
This work was commissioned for Mysterious Objects at Noon at Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film, Singapore by curators, Suzanne De Emmony and Gavin Maughfling. Artists from London and Singapore, who had never met previously, were asked to create a collaborative piece of work using online tools. Documentation of the collaboration formed part of the exhibition.
